Day 1 Dushanbe
Arrive to Dushanbe.
Rest, s/s tour of Dushanbe, parks and bazar.
Overnight Dushanbe.
Day 2 Dushanbe
Visit archeological museum with Buddha statue.
Visit musical instruments museum and watch a musical show
by local folk group.

Day 3 Dushanbe – Kalai Khum
Drive to Pamir mountains,
on route visit Kulab – burial place of saint Mir Ali Hamdani,
drive along Pyandzh river
on route see Afgani border , arrive in Kalaikhum

Day 4 Kalai Khum - Khorog
After breakfast continue driving toward Khorog
Drive along pyandzh river, see small afgani village on the other side.
Arrive in Khorog: s/s tour- main park, museum, botanical gardens and citadels
Meet local musicians for folk concert

Day 5 Khorog - Yamg (Wakhan corridor)
After breakfast drive to vakhan corridor visit hot springs, and old citadel conquered by Ali ibn
Talab, Ismaili holy sites. Also visit the museum and home of Mubarak el Vakhtani and stay
overnight at the house were his grandchildren live.

Day 6 Yamg – Langar, Wakhan Corridor, sacred sites in the mountains
Today we will visit a Buddhist stupa, a Zoroastrian fire temple, hermit caves and old citadels

Day 7 Langar -Murgab
Today we will drive to Murgab, on the way we will reach mysterious lakes on mountain tops. A mountain pass at 4400 meters.
Reach Murgab by evening

Day 8 Murgab area
Short walks in the area, meet local Kyrgyz population

Day 9 Murgab - Khorog
Drive to Khorog
On route visit Bolonkul lake and hot springs.

Day 10 Khorog- Kalaikhum
Drive a long way to Kalaikhum,
We will stop for a two hour walk in one of the rivers on the way
Meet local musicians on the way
Overnight Kalaikhum
Day 11 Kalaikhum- Dushanbe
Drive through mountain pass to Dushanbe
Overnight Dushanbe
Day 12 Dushanbe
Transfer to airport.
End of the tour.

Please, note:
In the mountain regions of Tajikistan you spend nights in real home stays of local people. These houses were not built for tourists. Usually they have 3-4 rooms. The owners put thick mattresses instead of beds. One house consists of 3-4 rooms, price includes 3-4 tourists in 1 room. Single supplement is valid only for hotels and guesthouses. If you want to be alone in home stay’s room – you must pay for all 4 beds (1 bed cost 15$). Village houses have a toilet and shower in the garden. For big groups we include several home stays.
